  • Premium Report: a paid digital report containing additional history data and indicators from commercial data sources.
  • Access Code: a unique code used to retrieve your Premium Report for a limited period.
  • User: any person using the Service.

3. Our Service

We provide vehicle history and verification information. Some data is supplied by external third parties and may vary by vehicle. The Premium Report is priced at £10.99 (unless otherwise stated at checkout).

3.1 Free Vehicle Check

The Free Check is provided for convenience and may not include all available vehicle history fields.

3.2 Premium Report

The Premium Report is a digital product that may include finance indicators, theft indicators, write-off markers, mileage analysis, plate changes, and other related results (subject to availability).

4. Data sources, accuracy & limitations

  • Reports use data supplied by third parties and industry sources.
  • Records may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or updated after you run your check.
  • We do not guarantee real-time accuracy or completeness of any record.
  • The Service is informational and does not replace inspections, V5C checks, or verification with authorities.

5. User responsibilities & acceptable use

  • You must enter the correct registration number before purchasing. You are responsible for incorrect input.
  • You must use the Service lawfully.
  • You must not scrape, automate, reverse engineer, bypass security, or overload the Service.
  • You must not resell, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit reports or underlying data.
  • You must keep your Access Code secure and must not share or sell it.

We may suspend or block access where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, automated activity, or attempts to bypass limits.

6. Payment processing

Payments are processed securely via Stripe (or other providers we may use). We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

7. Digital content delivery & cancellation

Premium Reports are digital content and are typically delivered immediately on-screen and may be retrievable using an Access Code.

Important (digital content)

By purchasing a Premium Report, you request immediate access to digital content. Once the report is supplied, your right to cancel may be lost in line with UK digital-content rules.

8. Access Codes & report availability

  • Premium reports are retrievable for 30 calendar days after purchase using your Access Code (unless stated otherwise).
  • After expiry, the Access Code will no longer work and the report may not be retrievable.
  • Access Codes are intended for the original purchaser only and must not be shared or resold.

9. Refund policy

9.1 Digital content – no right to cancel after supply

Premium Reports are digital content generated instantly using the registration details you provide at checkout. By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate supply of this digital content.

Once a report has been generated and made available to you (including being displayed on-screen or accessed via an Access Code), the digital content is considered supplied.

In accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your statutory 14-day right to cancel is lost once the digital content has been supplied.

9.2 Non-refundable circumstances

After supply, refunds will not be provided for:

  • change of mind, dissatisfaction, or perceived lack of value
  • missing or unavailable data where information is not held by official or third-party sources (including service history)
  • “no record found” or clear results
  • incorrect vehicle registration details entered at checkout
9.3 Non-delivery / technical failure

If you have been charged but the report cannot be delivered due to a technical fault on our side, contact support@carcheck360.co.uk with your email and access code. We will attempt to reissue access or provide a refund where delivery cannot be completed.

9.4 Statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

10. Intellectual property

The website, branding, report layout, code, design and content are owned by CarCheck360 (or licensed to us). You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to view your report for your own use. You must not copy, redistribute, or resell it.

11. Privacy & data security

We process personal data such as email address, registration number, access code, IP address and usage data to provide the Service, prevent fraud, and support customers. Please see our Privacy Policy.

  • Where we are liable to you, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected Premium Report.

14. Chargebacks & disputes

If there is an issue with delivery or billing, contact support first so we can resolve it quickly. We may suspend access while investigating suspected fraud or abusive disputes.
